Old Uintah Machine Shop

This machine shop once serviced equipment for the Uintah Railway in Atchee, CO. This is the only structure that is still standing in the town.

      Wow! I had no idea any building still remained. Are there others elsewhere along their old line?

      I have yet to find anything. In one of Rodger Polley's Pictorial books he has a shot of a telegraph booth on a farmers property. I hope to drive more of the old line this summer to see what else might be remaining.
