PANT - testing a new camera

I decided it was FINALLY time to replace the old and weary Minolta digital I had been using, that I had landed on and cracked open about four years ago and that hasn't worked reliably since. I bought a simple point and shoot digital (I have nice film get-ups for much more artistic or high detail shots) Panasonic DMC-S2 today. I bought it based on some features, the price, and, most importantly, the ability to take a handheld no-flash close-up photo of small details indoors, just the sort of photography I end up wishing I could do more of at train shows ALL THE TIME. Well, now I have one and now I will be more able to get quick digi-snaps onto the interwebs of both model and proto subjects.
