PPU Bridge over the Illinois River

P&PU Bridge, LDE on the P&PU. This double-tracked bridge linked the P&PU Eastern Division (East Peoria to Pekin) with the Western Division (Peoria to Hollis/Sommer) and was replaced by a double tracked lift bridge in 1984. Photo by Ray Breyer.
