This was actually in Eau Clair WI. I guess this is were the dog made national news by getting his toung stuck to the track. (Probebly seemed like the thing to do at the time) But for you folks who like the technical stuff. Just beyond the road crossing, you can see the slip joint. It absorbs rail expansion/contraction. Keeps buckles from getting accross the bridge.
