Shaking sand into wet paint

I shake the sand liberally into the wet paint. Sometimes, I will remove the excess sand when dry if the landforms are well shaped. Otherwise, I'll redistribute the loose sand later when dry with a 2 inch paint brush to blend slope changes more realistically.
