Soak surface with diluted glue

After wetting the surface with a water/isopropyl alcohol mixture, I apply a diluted glue solution. This is Mod Podge matte medium from the craft department at Walmart, probably around 2-3 parts water to 1 part glue. I rarely spray glue solution with a spray bottle: too messy.
