I'm curious about the switcher in the back. Is there a protoype for that? I though C&O had the PM b dieselization and the E7-8 only used the name b ecause that was what the train was named for. Pretty scheme though

Besides the E-7s, The Pere Marquette also had an SW-1, a few NW-2s, and three GE 70-tonners
with PM lettering. If you look in my "Locomotives" folder you will see a PM NW-2 and another image
of the 70-Tonner. I am still not sure if the pilots on the 70-Tonners were blue or black, as I have never
seen a color photo of one.

Hi, can I ask what you used for the chain link fence in this scene? It looks outstanding. Great pic!

The fence was made from Scale Scenics aluminum mesh, attached to brass wire poles with super glue and epoxy. It was then painted with light gray paint. It is difficult to keep the aluminum attached to anything - a few sections that got bumped had to be redone after several years. Back before photo etched fencing was available, fencing was either made from mesh like this or bridal veil material. Thanks for the comments!
