Broke my cat from "inspecting". Set mousetraps with a sheet of printer paper on top of the trap (even if the cat steps on the paper right above the trap, the trap just slides underneath the paper). Set about a half dozen in a long row. Cat must have run down the layout after stepping on the first on, and tripped all the traps. After that would just lay the sheets of paper on the layout and now more feline inspections.
