UP 949 and EMD Demonstrators

A light engine move NS 045, the UP 949 E unit leads the EMD Demonstrator F units west/south to Chattanooga. Seen here in Concord, TN, these units were on display at the Streamliners event in Spencer, NC a couple of days earlier. The Demo units are supposed to be getting repainted at Chattanooga in the same livery. My understanding is that the 949 would be forwarded back to Union Pacific.
