Thanks Darren for stopping by my gallery. I appreciate it!

      Another postcard shot!

Thanks Thom. Glad I had the opportunity that day to chase her from almost Fresno to LA. Think we'll ever see her back on an old SP route again in SoCal where she belongs?
    • SP 9811
I hope so. A run over Tehachapi would be awesome!

I suppose it's not out of the question for a Daylight special to run to SoCal on the BNSF!
    • SP 9811
yeah! Then she could run down Cajon Pass on the BNSF.

How about down the San Joaquin Valley on the BNSF, over the Loop on BNSF's trackage rights to Mojave, across to Barstow, then west on the Cajon Sub. As you probably know, Daylight #4455 ran on the 1st District in 1947 during the AAR Rail Stress Tests just above Cajon Station on the #1 Main Track. 60 years later seems long enough!

I can't believe all the views you caught, of unique trains. Wow! Great stuff!

Thank you so very much Boxcab for the kind words. I've had a lot of support to do my best work for a lot of years. Nobody ever had to twist my arm to be around trains, whether it was just to watch them go by, ride them or photograph them. TrainBoard has been very supportive as well!
