The river valley and viaduct really show up well in this picture.
Over all view of the layout including the viaduct and two mountains.
The mine in the foreground is scratch built and is not completed yet.
Once again showing the yard and very straight yard tracks.
Got to get those yard tracks straight!
Over all view of the passenger station and platform/industry/yard area.
The rocks near the parking...
Passenger station and industrial area.
Yard maintenance area and a signal tower.
The unfinished scratch built mine is the upper right hand...
Passenger platform with the actual passenger schedules from the Erie Lackawanna Railroad shrunk down to 2 point font using Word and a color printer.
West side of yard.
Scratch built coal mine and some of my favorite trees on the layout.
The small rocks towards the left of this picture are actually made from kitty liter.
In the foreground the pilings are made from dowels.
The rock work is a pre-made foam mold that has been painted the same rock colors as the plaster.
All the rock work is hand carved and made from plaster.
All rock work is hand carved and made from plaster.
This mine is also scratch built. It is not quite done yet as the roof and some other detailing parts are missing.
All rock work is hand carved and is made from plaster.
The clam shell and cables were added for extra realism.
