Railway Age’s Next-Gen Freight Rail 2024 Conference will take place on March 12, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Union League Club of Chicago. Speaker Lineup Our lineup includes no fewer than three Class I C-Suite executives, whose railroads span North America. We will lead off with Beth Whited, President of Union Pacific (UP), with Jim Vena, CEO, UP, continuing the conversation. What is their perspective on building the UP of the future? Next, Brent Laing, Vice President of Engineering, CN, and Railway Track & Structures’ 2023 Engineer of the Year, will discuss engineering excellence at the Class I railroad.
