I'm just starting out in 0N30 and have been trying to source various items that I'm going to need to add character to my layout.
The one thing I'm having trouble with is finding suitable vehicles. What I'm looking for is a a stepside pick-up truck and a small 4/6 wheel tanker and maybe a station wagon of some sort.
I've tried searching the web for 1/48 diecast or 1/4inch scale and '0' scale autos but have only found military vehicles. I'd be happy for a straight forward kit of some sort!
Can anyone please point me in the way of a suitable manufacturer or retailer?
    Thanks for any help
    Tony

There are a number of ebay sellers with a large list of all kinds of cars and trucks. These items are always listed as they appear to be using ebay as an outlet. Just search by On30 and you should get the whole list.

Tony, I suggest trying "O" scale instead. We, on this side of the pond, seem to have disconnected "O"/"0" from "1" and "2". :tb-biggrin:

I've seen the same ebay auctions that Dan has mentioned. As someone primarily interested in the pre-auto days, I usually try to filter them out.

Yes. The best place for die-cast that I have found is Asheville Die Cast in Asheville North Carolina. They have a wide variety of cars and trucks to chose from . Anything from 32' Ford trucks and cars, Studebakers, Edsels , to modern day vehicles etc. Scroll down to Yat Ming I model in the 50's era and this company has been very useful for me. I noticed that there are 1:43 vehicles as well as 1:50 vehicles. Very good detailing possibilities in this large scale.
