I am having all kinds of epiphanies today. (No, I didn't get any on me, though.) When I posted about those small Japanese diesels, I didn't immediately make the connection about the power truck they use. Those take advantage of Kato's relatively recent 16.5mm gauge coreless truck-motor drive that's used in the P42 and Japanese prototype EF510. I personally could see a lot of On30 potential for a powered truckthat didn't require any mechanical components in the chassis of the model and I thought I would share.
