A temporary bridge over the Whitewater River in 1913. The bridge is on the Cincinnati to Indianapolis mainline just west of Valley Junction, OH.
I'm glad that trestle is only temporary, it looks slapped together and rickety. The Atlantic gives the impression that it's feeling its way very carefully.
With a name like "Whitewater" that river must have some rapids. Your collection of historic photos just keeps getting better, Roger.
