    I have to duplicate Hank's comment--Beautiful, as they were, and none survive. After seeing a lot of surviving steam locomotives, running or not, I like the lines of the Santa Fe, but none can compare to that NYCS Hudson. Thanks again, Roger. :tb-biggrin:

    Nice!
    It seems the smokebox and firebox have a brighter graphite paint than we are used to seeing on NYCS steam locomotives.
    Maybe this was done just for the official builder's photo?
