Just finished this today so thought I'd post a couple pictures. I'll post more in the '3D Printing and More' section later along with links to the print files. One will probably use this gas station alone but it could be used with other parts of the truck stop complex if one so desired. You often read that a filament printer isn't much good for N scale objects but I'm quite happy with the Ender 3 Pro for a lot of these projects. I will finally get the resin printer up and going I bought but sure like the no mess instant results with the filament printer. For most objects that you view at normal viewing distance it can go a good job. Ok a few preview pictures.... Sumner
( HERE is a link ) to more details about the gas station along with a link to the print files (roof files will follow soon). Sumner
Great job, with the big sign boards on the roof that would make a fine model of a Richfield station, predecessor of ARCO.
I saw that station and looked at a number of others.... ...... and the ones above. Copied and made up some stuff from all of them. I think the name for my station will be 'Joe Pass's Gas & Service', an independent . Sumner
