Did Rio Grande assign Freight locos to this this late or did they still have some Passenger Units up front on the Winter Park Ski Train.
Ski Train Power Hi Adam, The Grande only ran the F-units on the Ski Train during the 1983-84 ski season, and after that, it was any freight unit that was available. I personally saw GP40's (-2's), SD40T-2's, and SD50's. Someone else might have seen GP30's or SD45's as well. I doubt anything else was used during your time period. I hope this helps.
