2008 CalTrain Holiday Train Schedule: San Francisco The Holiday Train entertainers will give a brief performance at 4:30 p.m. before departing from the San Francisco station at Fourth and King streets at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7. The train will stop at four Peninsula stations each night. Entertainment at those stations will begin 30 minutes before the train arrives. Saturday, Dec. 6 CalTrain Station Entertainment & Toy Collection Begin Train Arrives Burlingame 5:05 p.m. 5:35 p.m. Redwood City 5:45 p.m. 6:15 p.m. Menlo Park 6:35 p.m. 7:05 p.m. Sunnyvale 7:20 p.m. 7:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 CalTrain Station Entertainment & Toy Collection Begin Train Arrives San Bruno 4:58 p.m. 5:28 p.m. San Mateo 5:32 p.m. 6:02 p.m. Mountain View 6:50 p.m. 7:20 p.m. Santa Clara 7:35 p.m. 8:05 p.m. The Holiday Train is not a passenger train. Visitors are invited to visit the stations and view the Holiday Train show but are not permitted to board or ride on the train.
If I remember correctly the SBHRS should be open that night (12-7-08). They are in the Santa Clara Depot. They have a HO scale & a N scale Layout.
