I can attest to the SVRR aluminum code 250. It seems to be *the* logical choice for live steam and battery powered folk. I laid approximately 160' of it this past spring and was very pleased. The tie strips are a nice brown color and seem to have a lower profile than most aristo flex track which minimizes the "toy" look if your track isn't ballasted.

My only complaint is that the spike detail which holds the rail to the tie strips doesn't hold up well to abuse. My dogs run back and forth across my track and when they drag thier feet across the track causing lateral or sideways forces on the rail, it has a tendency to pop out of the tie strip.

Can't comment on the turnouts as I don't have any yet. All experiences above are with the standard gauge tie strips.

Walthers and LGB/Marklin are coming out with the new Club cars this year and three new starter sets, both of which are classic: The Green Stainz/Blue and red Coach set and the Work set. Also included is what Marklin calls the "Mainline" Set.

G-Scale Junction was sold to a new owner and they have C&O and L&N Aristocraft Custom Run 2 Bay Hoppers. Both roadnames have 2 road numbers a piece. A Nice find for those modeling L&N.

Nice work DragonFyreGT, that would be the second time that particular hobby shop was sold that I can remember. They also show up at the ECLS Train show and do seem to be mainly a Aristocraft dealer since thats what they have most of at the show.
