Its now time for the TrainBoard 2010 Prototype Photo of the Year contest! 2010 is one month away from being history! From this contest TrainBoard's Best Prototype Photo of the Year will be chosen. Could it be yours? 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be selected! The top three ranking first time winners will also be honored! *Please read all rules as they ARE different from previous weeks* If you notice a typo, error, or confusing statement, please notify Mark Watson immediately for correction and clarification. TrainBoard 2010 Prototype Photo Challenge Topic: "No Subject" 1. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!! 2. The entry deadline is MIDNIGHT (UTC -11), Friday December 31st, 2010. Late entries will be accepted up until the official "Time's up!" post within the thread. 3. For photos to be eligible they must be taken between Friday January 1st 2010 and Friday December 31st 2010. Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photographs! 4. Any posts with images taken before the period of the challenge will not be included in the poll and will be moved to the cutting room floor thread. - Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct. - 5. Each participant may submit a total of 4 separate photos! so please choose your photos carefully. *note on posting entries* Please embed the full size image (up to 1000x750px) in your post. If you attach your image, you can then edit your post to embed the attachment link as a full size image. Also, please post one image per post. 6. Though composition is popular among voters, it is not required. Any image or snap shot related to the topic is acceptable! 7. Though not required, commenting on other peoples photo is encouraged. *note on commenting* Using quotes is a great way to easily direct comments. For this contest however, please remove images from any quotes. This helps keep the thread "clean" for when voting time comes. 8. Please use the Cutting Room Floor thread for related but ineligible images. 9. A clever and distinctive title for your image helps identify it among voters. 10. Post the date in which each photo you enter was taken. At the very least, include the Month if the exact day is unknown. Within the first week of January 2011, all entries will be put up for a public vote, in which all members of TrainBoard may vote for their favorite entry(s), regardless of whether you submitted an entry or not. A voting bracket will be decided upon when the time comes. You will be allowed to vote for multiple entries. OK, enough of that bureaucratic reading. Let the contest begin!!!
