Yep, we’re definitely having the Winter Layout Party! I’ll officially open the thread in the Layout Design Discussion forum on Friday Dec 15, so get your ideas, tools, equipment, materials, and project supplies ready! Everyone is welcome: newbies, modeling veterans, Master Model Railroaders; any scale; tiny, modular, HCD, 4x8, or monster-sized layouts; projects ranging from layout planning/constructing/revising/improving to electrical, structures, rolling stock, locomotives, scenery, operations; plastic kits, laser-cut kits, 3D printed, scratch built; new projects or continuation of (or return to) decades-long old projects. If you have questions about participating in the party as either a regular poster or as a spectator/supportive commenter, I’ll be monitoring this thread and will address them, as needed, but please hold any posts announcing your specific goals for the Official thread in the Layout Design Discussion forum, which I won’t start until Friday Dec 15.
