I saw the 3096 at Roseville yard on 9 Mar 05.
Still had her Blomberg B trucks, unlike the 3110 whch has the M truck in gery underneath her.
There was no tagging and the 3096 paint looked VERY good.

    The 3096 is a GP40-2, I didn't have a camera, that's why there are no lpics. (Sorry).

I used an Atheran for my model of it.

What is the significance of 3096? I have a model of 3086 in DRGW paint as I thought it was the first DRGW engine painted into Espee colors.

3086 was the first D&RGW unit to be painted in the SP scheme. The fact that 3096 is still in D&RGW paint in 2005 is the significance.
Any time that I find a D&RGW unit in original paint I will post it here. I'm just a die hard Grande fan.

Understand. Thanks. How many DRGW schemes are left? Does anyone have an estimate?
