Just wondering if anyone has any trackplans for either loop or P2P for a 4mx1m sized layout ? (possibility for expansion in future ) HO & On30 using Atlas100. Just need some ideas for a nice scenic style model RR. Tried googling but must be using wrong keywords. cheers Brendan
Here's a nice On30 4'x8' (1.22m x 2.44m) that might provide some inspiration. One issue you'll be facing is that 1m (39") allows for only 18" radius curves on a turnback loop, which is fine for small diesel & short rolling stock, but looks awkward on larger stuff. Another is that 39" is a big reach across, unless you have access to all sides of the layout. Well I found an unexpected link. That O scale layout is the guy who uses kilz to weather his track. Sadly I couldn't find a link to his track weathering tutorial. Ill have to dig deeper I suppose. Thanks for putting up the link, I had been wanting to find that site again.
