I have been making printed paper models for a while but it always looked like a paper model. So after playing with different techniques I am close to something that looks OK. Of course nothing to beat models with real parts but for spending 5 minutes one could add many structures to the layout quick...

Still improving the process... have not taken pictures of the last models, if anyone is interested, just check for paper engineering on google there is so much to learn... and use in Z.

    Paper?

    Steve and Kim,

    Great looking buildings!
I Z-scale... is it even really noticeable when viewing from normal distances?
By looking at Steve's layout... I'd say, "No..." I think very few folks would take notice of the material they are built with.

I'd say all the buildings are convincing paper or not. although I am amazed at how well the metal roofing came out. That was well done to capture that 3-d look.
