I bought Microscale decals for WP boxcars awhile back. I'm getting around now to looking for the cars I need so I can use them, but I'm having trouble. One is a 50' plug door box car with ONE door. I see Microtrains made a WP box car that is very close--but while the decal instructions show a car with tabs on the bottom edge of the side panel, the Microtrains version shows a single fishbelly-like "tab" that runs the length of the car. My questions: 1. In the series 55901-55920, did any of these cars have fishbelly-type side panels? Or were they all tabbed sides? 2. For the 40' boxcars included in the decal set, I can see they are PS-1's. But I model in N scale and they don't have PS-1's with the "7' High-Tack door" that WP used. What is this door? Is it found on other cars? (I'm thinking in terms of kitbashing). 3. Was this decal set made for a specific runs of N scale cars that were discontinued? 4. Has any N-scale modeler here even used these decals? Thought it would be worth at least asking...
