It is our current plan to provide a kit (we think will have a price of $55.00) that the modeler only needs to paint, mount trucks and couplers, apply decals, adhere etched metal, and put on the tracks.

Late arrival but I read the threads. $30-$40 for the primed ready for final paint or just decals is OK by me but $55 I have to think about it. I prefer ready-to-run, not brass parts and pieces kits, I just don't have the time, but am willing to do maybe decals and certainly trucks, couplers and a simple ladder for something unique.
Is the 3/$99 just the bare unassembled brass kits or the base assembled and primed version? Thats a great price for me and MAYBE as much as $120 but I fold above that.
I must thank you for doing this creative stuff so that we Zheads can have something different (like an enclosed auto carrier car [IMG]

    Jeff,
    Thanks for the response.
This concept is NOT a brass kit, although currently its planned on having etched stainless ladders and railings and end cap details. The body will be acrylic Poly-Jet. $55.00 is the considered first estimate, and the 3/99 will depend on volume.
    Thanks again,
    Jim
