Having looked through the "Nosey" thread and feelling that yes, I _could_ post his here I felt we - the folks at Trainboard" needed yet another "punish thread" for the "75 cents" or - please forgive me - "3/4 view": GP40X at "Ruggles" just outside of "Northeastern University" in Boston, MA.
Yes, the louvers appear to be installed on all of the MBTA locos and control cars I have seen. The bridges Amtrak goes under all have barriers so you can't drop anything down. Other bridges over MBTA track have chain link fences.
