Had the time for a bit of railfanning Thursday evening before heading out for the birthday activities. I wasn't trackside for too long before a NS train of nothing but new CAT equipment rolled through. The lighting and my position were not the best, but I managed a few decent shots. It was a neat one to watch.

Would this be a tyical movement, or what I've seen refered to as a High/Wide shipment? Either way, neat catch!

BNSF at Eola (IL)Yard switches out the CAT plant in Montgomery IL.
You can see stuff like that most all the time at Eola Yard. Quite an interesting place inside the plant. "The CAT Job" crew that switches the plant usually takes "beans" inside the plant itself.

I've not seen a movement of CAT equipment here before, but that doesn't mean much. NSfan14 might know.

I work in different places everyday including a lot of factories and government buildings. We usually have our "beans" in whatever facility we are working in. UPS, Ford, police stations, fire stations, etc. The fire stations are usually known for the best food. Hardin County fire is alway generous with their hot ham & cheese and fried potatoes! It is always nice when a company or organization will give you some coffee and an air conditioned place to take a break.
