I wish I would have known Rasputan was at the NTS> Would have love to have met the master of C&O N scale. Here are a few more shots of the S4 and also the new 2-6-0. He was on the money about the darn things going back and forth. Hard to get a decent shot.

Do those trucks look a bit too long?

It looks like that 2-6-0 would make for a nice 0-6-0. HMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Sorry I missed you oldrk. Your shots of the 2-6-0 turned out much better than mine! My camera is too slow to focus on a moving object. I wonder if the S-4 trucks appear to be too long because they are painted a bright color? Since we are talking about Bachmann, here are some of the freight offerings from their display, including the three dome tank cars:

With last year's release of the single dome tank car. You can no longer say "OH, it's only Bachmann" and put it into the 'wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole' category without at least having a look.

Never thought I'd see Bachmann without Rapidos. What's the world coming to? Oh ya, it's 2012!

Looks a lot like the 4-6-0, but: the 2-6-0 cab seems to have larger windows, and cylinders use piston valves instead of slide valves. But this tender looks like the right size, just the thing for the 4-6-0. Miss anything?
