The EJ&E SD-38-2's are made from BN SD-40-2's early production, third fan removed and plugged, chevrons are done in "Scotchlite" film as is the sill stripe on the WSOR SD-40, a former Algoma Kato unit. 2 0f the guys who run over here asked me to do them. Hope you enjoy. Number boards and numbers on the WSOR will be done this week. Bob

    Bob,
Very impressive, those look great! I had not seen the WSOR unit you did, did you mask that off and spray it gray or red first?

Hows the new intermodal yard coming along?

    my best,
    Jan

Jan, I sprayed the gray first then masked it off. This will be 4079, the only straight 40 I could find. Bob

Wow! Nicely done! I grew up watching the J and have been thinking of a project just like you did here.

Those look great! Does the 656 have an all-weather window on the engineer's side?

NICE!! Great job on them both, but I reallly like the WSOR unit. I think you should send it to me so I can see it in person. I'll send it back...........eventually! :)

Russ, they are 657 and 658. Quick search on railpics shows both of them should have them, yours would work, but the new owner did not want them. Bob.

4079 is an SD40M-2 as are 4076-4078. Nice work on the color matching, they look good!

Thanks Karl. The next problem is the numbers, can't seem to find anything that looks right. Bob.
