    HI.
I was wondering if anyone has dabbled with the new mining train from Busch that runs on Z track?
Second, for those that do, have you tried using the Japanese Z scale track? They have some with very small radius and would look great with the Busch cars. I donĀ“t know how you would mount metal plates as the engine needs a magnet to hold the engine on the tracks.

I've looked at the Busch HOi mining train online but did not realize it required magnets to keep it on the rail. The rail it comes with looks like standard Marklin 6.5mm gauge track. In HO, 6.5mm scales out to about 21".

I use some Rokuhan track for my Z scale but I haven't tried the super small radius. I do know that an N Scale 40' boxcar will bind on 100mm radius Tomix Finetrack (9mm gauge) but will work on the 140mm radius if that helps you plan.

I don't see why it couldn't, depending on if it requires a magnet and if the wheel spacing of the rolling stock can handle the radius. These look like 4 wheel rolling stock so you would not get the pivoting action of trucks/bogies.

The is from the Busch German Language website: http://www.busch-model.com/online/?rubrik=14&topnav=3&kat=150&spur_h0=1&sprach_id=de
Here is the starter set which mentions Marklin track: http://www.busch-model.com/online/?rubrik=14&topnav=3&art_id=5000&sprach_id=de&spur_h0=1

I during my search, I think I saw something on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cI7UG1Tq54) but I am not in a position to watch it right now.
