Found this in UP's Ray Yard (ex-MKT) in Denison a few weekends ago, and thought I'd share it with you: I'm guessing it's used in work train service.
I would never have thought any of these bay windows were still in service and certainly not with an Espee logo on it. Really great catch. I see it is connected to a gondola on the left end. Does it have reporting marks? I don't see any. Has the bottom step been removed? I am amazed!!
Awesome catch...I agree...never thought that one could find a espee caboose in 2009! However, I did actually see one on a work train in central Nebraska last year...had the SP Police logo and all antennas and junk too...couldn't read the reporting marks on it either. Cool and thanks for sharing it with us!
