Now that the cold air here in Texas has receded for a while, I took advantage and did some much needed weathering. Two locos and a car.
Nice work Thomas. I've done very little equipment weathering in my years, but have enjoyed what small bit I've done. My most difficult challenge is knowing when to stop. Prevailing light matters greatly to my eyes it seems. I like doing airbrushing in a bright sunlit room or even outside. I'm much better able to gauge paint thickness and overall coverage, and in the case of weathering, I'm less apt to overdo it. I want my railroad to look profitable and like it's run with pride, not like it's in the throes of abandonment.
Nice thread Thomas, I've not done weathering in about a month-thanks for the spark to get back at it.
