... I've managed to grab these last few years: http://www.train-orders.com/RFAN/RFAN.html Scroll down to BNSF. :tb-biggrin:
Ken, that's a great collection. I like the second one attributed to Mary with the snow covered mountains in the background. :tb-biggrin:
Ken, awesome pics, however 2887 is not a GP39-2R, but a GP39M. Also, never knew RRs would turn rail to extend its use
We'd pulled off at the Summit rest stop, and I was digging some water out of a cooler. She heard our train and grabbed the camera- Went running across to the highway and grabbed that view. Worked out great, as it has the Elevation sign right in good view, in front of the engine. Keep checking that page- I have just added some Amtrak and will upload other miscellaneous stuff as time goes by. If I had a decent slide scanner, there'd be MILW and.... Oh well.
I could not think of what it was, so went looking and found: http://www.thedieselshop.us/BNSF.HTML Guess he needs correction. Yes. Have seen it done many times. Spurs, sidings, yard tracks, branch lines.
