A good day in Ashland.

I spent an enjoyable evening in Ashland VA today. We saw 9 trains in the 3 hours we were there!

First train of the day was this southbound intermodel train.




Past the depot.

Next, this Amtrak train paid us a visit.


Followed up by another Amtrak a few minutes later.

 

They never seem to run out of Amtraks to throw at us do they.

 

The last train of the day was a good one. An SD40-2 and what I think is a B23-7 heads up a short weed sprayer train.
