A or B end of a car?

    Hi again!

    May one of the gods here :D can explain me how can I quickly recognize the A end of a car from the B end... :confused:

    When a single car is going down grade, you can tell the difference this way:

    If the down hill end has a calm engineer in it, that is the "A" end.

    If the down hill end is empty and the rest of the car has people screeming their lungs out, it is the "B" end!

    The "B" end of the car is the end that has the hand brake, the other end, without the brake, is the "A" end.
