I went through Vaughn, NM on 12/30/07 and there was stacks and stacks of new RR ties laying on the ground, about 40 cars loaded with new ties, about 20-40 rail cars carrying new steel rail, about 25 MOW tractors on one of the sidings, about 25 MOW service trucks, four work crew buses, numerous loaders, graders, and backhoes. The local RR motel (Oak Tree Inn) was full with no vacancies since it was built for the RR workers. I DON'T KNOW IF ALL THIS EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY IS FOR ABO OR NOT BUT I HAVEN'T HEARD OF ANY OTHER PROJECTS IN THE AREA NEEDING THIS MUCH EQUIP AND MAN POWER.
