Sorry, no idea. I've no Bachmann engine.

What about LEDs for lighning? Do you run with DC or DCC?

I don't run DCC yet, but which decoder would you suggest? And what size LEDs should I install for the HL/DL and Reverse Lights?:teeth:

    Hi squigee62090,

it depends how much knowledge you have about soldering. Some time ago I've installed an ESU sound decoder into an old run Kato Dash 9.

I had to remove the rear light for the speaker. But I've two engines running as consist.
I would use a 3mm golden white LED and glue it onto the light rod. I did so with my RS 1 .
The Dash 9 has DL, but they are connected via light rod to the same LED lilke the head light. I would cut the light rods and glue two SMD LEDs. For this you need a llittle bit experience. For my ELNA, a GERMAN steam engine, I needed 6 lights. And I used about 20 SMD LEDs!
There should be other decoder types possible.

...What's a light rod? Is it the clear plastic thing that usually is substituted as lights?

Yes, the clear plastic thing. I didn't find a better word. That's my problem with the language.
