I have just bought a couple of action kits, ore dump car and log unload-er does anyone make any other items of interest such as cattle unloading etc? HO just seems to be lacking these fun items.

I can't think of anything for HO and cattle. Unless someone such as Lionel did it for their HO line back in the 1960's.

I have heard of (and once actually heard) cattle cars with sound systems and acceleration sensors that detect rough handling of the cars. If the engineer jostles the car too much with fast curves or jerky switching, the cows start bellowing.

I think those were MTH cars but I could be wrong.

I remember the action cars back when and really thought they were the cat's meow, glad I found a couple of action accessories will make it kind of cool, thanks for the replies.

If you want operating accessories there are a lot of them that can be found used or old stock by brands like Tyco and Lima. Most of the action stuff was made in the 70's and pretty much mimicked what was made in the 50's 60's for O scale tinplate.

I looked for catalogs and found this PDF on this site: http://www.slotcarcentral.com/pdf/tycotrainacces.pdf

If you can afford it Heljan makes a really nice DCC container crane.

    And it has lights too.

Thank you so very much as I really think that a car that unloads itself just adds to the experience and fun.
