I would like to make a model of this Akron, Canton and Youngstown boxcar. I need to know the font types so I can at least get close. Of course I will search, but I thought I might shorten the process if anyone had any experience with this before. The "Serving the nation and Ohio" is some type of Gothic. I am most concerned about the "ACY" and the serifs on those letters. Thanks for any help.

I suggest using "DejaVu Sans" TTF for the non-ACY letters. Still looking for a font for the "ACY" letters.

Have you tried Identifont? I've used that many times to identify fonts (or at least get close enough).

I did try Identifont (Thanks...I just found it.) and it did pretty well. Not exactly as I wanted but I couldn't answer all the questions Identifont asked as I only had the three letters. I Identifont suggested "Hellonaise" created in 1912.

Instead, I went to Bing (free drawing program) to modify the photo and imported that into my Arts and Letters drawing program. Then I outlined the letters and created a decal from that. It should be exact.

I'll just use this plus the "DeJavu Sans" for the other lettering.

I just went through Identifont again and it came out with "Courier," a very common font. I just checked and I don't think that is correct.

Looks good! That would have been my next suggestion (that's how I do it, anyway).
