I want to upgrade my 85' Con-Cor 85' streamlined passenger cars with interior details. The only readily available commercial source, i.e. kits, I could locate at our local Hobby stores we those made by IHC, so I purchased one for the Vista Dome cars, IHC #20157. When I got it home I noticed that it did not contain any provision for the upper dome portion of the car, just the lower sections. Since the Con-Cor Budd Dome car, #781, does not have any provision for this either, I'm hoping someone can steer me to a doable solution.
    Thanks

It has been a while since I bought any but Pikestuff used to sell seats in sections of six double seats. The number was HO Scale 4101. A pack had the equivalent of 72 light weight seats. They are probably still out there. I would build my own interiors out of Evergreen styrene and glue the seats to that. Sometimes I would have to cut them apart to get the correct spacing.

You could also make a rubber mold of some lower seats, pour your own, paint, add passengers, and just mount them up there.
