I have a couple threads going on about these cars, so I apologize about the clutter, but each thread is about a different subject.

I won these cars on ebay recently, 3 Pennsy passenger cars. LOTS of research seems to indicate that they are models of Budd cars (corrugated roofs and sides). I am working on restoring them, and I have already fixed the couplers, and added my own led lighting.

I am coming to love the look of these cars, and I want to get more. Trouble is, they look very old, and I have NO idea who made them. The cars have no manufacturer markings on them, except on the plastic window pieces, which have part numbers, but nothing google recognizes.

    Here is what I know:

    1. Most likely models of Budd built cars
    2. Painted in the PRR Congressional livery, stainless with Tuscan letterboard, yellow lettering. These were the ones added in 1952.
    3. The window pieces, which are just thin, clear plastic sheets, have part numbers printed on them, and silhouettes of passengers painted on as well.
    4. The cars were lit with peanut style incandescent bulbs, which I changed out for white LEDs.
    5. There is on observation car, one "club car", and one coach (these words are written on the sides.
    6. There are road numbers: the coach is 3105, club car is 567, observation says "PBO" where the road number should be.
    7. Bodies are plastic, chassis are metal.

Thats about all I can determine. I can also supply the part numbers from the window plastics. Anyone know where I can start to look (other than google, which I have exhausted)?

Am I just going to have to keep watching ebay and get lucky?

    Thanks!
