I would like to convert this engine to DCC. Any one know which decoder would be the best for it? I am also interested in sound. Also how would you wire it? Thanks!
I would give the Soundtrax unit a go. Very good sound! You would install into the tender- wires between the loco and tender- Largest speaker you can fit into the tender with the decoder. Add a capacitor if you have room, it will help if you have pick up problems. 2200 mfd should do it.
