if i say so myself. finally got a matching set of these engines, although two loco;s will pull my longest train. i had a conflict with the new 189 A unit. couldnt get it to run smooth thru a true track turnout, sometimes stalling. after several minutes of wheel guaging, with no luck, i finally noticed that the front truck sideframe was not clipped on good on one end. all is well now....

DARN nice! Now I see why you want to lose those passenger FT's! I would pick 'em up off ya but won't have funds for a week or two.... but boy, those cat whiskers look good and you know it! Any plans for a yellowbonnet on your rails? An oddity I know but cool nonetheless :)

P.S. Thank you again for the trade on those spiffy NP FT's! They are wonderful locos.

I always have liked that color combination. Although their other colors were fine, something about these two...

i grew up watching these engines in central texas as a young boy, although most i believe were f7's by then. i guess thats why i lean toward the santa fe. i sure want a set of those early cat whiskers colors when funds become available. and...like EMD F7A said, some of those yellowbonnets! glad your liking the NP engines.

My eagle eye thinks they are in the 'cigar band' rather than 'cat whiskers' scheme but either way ATSF blue and yellow is good.
