I want to airbrush my rails and it's been suggested to use Floquill railhead brown as one choice. What percentage of thinner do I mix this paint with inorder to use it in an airbrush?
Whatever % works best w/ your particular airbrush, compressor, and paint medium. In otherwords, take your Floquil paint, mix some acetone or whatever thinner you use, and try it on some scrap.. or even scrap rail. I would start off w/ about 10% and see what happens. If it is too thick, or blotchey, add more thinner until it flows correctly.
