A friend and I lived in Alabama for a number of years and were talking about the AT&N, a 214 Mile line purchased by the Frisco in 1948. With it, the Frisco gained access to the Port of Mobile. What happened to the "Tennessee & Northern" part of the line? Did they run out of money and/or ambition after reaching Reform?
