I started working on an Atlas C630. I have posted a few photos on my web site.

    PRODUCT N-SCALE C628/C630 DETAIL KIT

I am waiting for the radiator shutter etchings to show up.

Brian welcome to trainboard. I've seen your work on D&D. Can't wait to see some N-scale details.

    Great stuff, Brian!

But I would need to look at my engines with a magnifying glass to be able to appreciate these details. My eyes are just a bit too old for this, I'm afraid.

What I am hoping for are the cruder changes needed to get closer to Canadian prototypes, such as a "split" tank.

I think Briggs Model made the tank you refer to - alas Briggs seems to have vanished.

You might try contacting this place:

Dunno if they actually have any stock left.

Thanks Mark! Too bad I did not know about this earlier. Should have asked of course! Anyway, I'll give it a try.
