Hello! First post as I am a new member. Last evening I was in Alexandria, Indiana (60 miles N of Indianapolis) and noticed what appeared to be a mostly unused NS line that runs north-south through the town. Can anyone confirm this is a NS line? Which NS line? Was it busy at one time? Thanks! Joe
A quick dig into an old Official Guide shows both NYC and N&W once running through there. N&W went into NS and at least some of the NYC ended up in NS ownership. So a good chance it is (or was?) NS.
