This past weekend I was privileged to be at the second annual Frisco Modelers Convention in Lenexa, Kansas. One of the highlights was a chance to operate on a Frisco-themed layout built by Rick McClellan of Overland Park. His layout is based on Frisco's Northern Division, and so far he has built the line from Kansas City south to Ft. Scott, KS. In Kansas City, he has modeled Rosedale & 19th Street Yards, and has included diesels from other railroads (Katy, Rock Island, UP, Illinois Central Gulf, MoPac, Norfolk & Western). The era is the late 1970s- and there is no bad news, if you get my meaning..... I shot a few videos that I posted on YouTube- have a look.
